Independent Study
At Corsham6th we pride ourselves in developing independent, self-starting and well informed students. Much of the pastoral programme and teaching is based around students managing their time effectively to stay healthy and positive.
We use a combination of strategies including the VESPA mindset and also PiXL Post-16 Independence. Our Core and tutorial Programme place a great emphasis on what makes an excellent independent learner. This includes strategies and approaches for students to adopt.
We follow the VESPA mindset model during tutor time.
