SPARK 2023
Spark 2023
Fri 7th July 2023 at The Pound Arts and The Corsham School
The aim of Spark is to encourage good Mental, Emotional and Physical Health in our students. The event is led by Louise Urquhart of Rewired Counselling in partnership with The Pound Arts Centre. It's a full-day immersive and off-curriculum event for all the Year 9 students at The Corsham School. Its aim is to encourage good Mental, Emotional and Physical Health in our young people.
There will be a huge range of different suppliers attending the event for the students to choose to engage with (see the directory below). Some will be experts for the students to talk to and ask questions, some are more interactive sessions to book onto and some are just relaxing and/or fun activities. There will be different therapies and activities that the students may never have seen or heard of before as well as some familiar things to do.
The day will end with the whole year coming together as a celebration and we are really lucky this year to have Toby Thompson performing for us.
The day looks like this:
1. P1&2 - Session 1 at The Pound (Group A) or at The School (Group B)
2. P3&4 - Session 2 at The Pound (Group B) or at The School (Group A)
3. P5 - We all get together for thank you's and a final act in the Sixth Form block.
Here's a link to last year's event to give you more of a flavour - Spark 2022
